About Monomousumi

Monomousumi is anΒ ISO-certified, record-holder, and highly acclaimed non-commercial Edu-tech Platform that brings together technology for the education sector and provides requisite support to students, writers, and school administrations. It was officially launched in May 2018 with the intent to make writing-related extracurricular activities accessible through technology-driven solutions.

About the Olympiad

It is an international competition open to writers of all ages, professions, genders, and nationalities. Participants can submit their works in English, Hindi, or Bangla, and there is no age limit, making it accessible to everyone passionate about writing.

Categories

  • Category I: Essay, story, short story, script, letter, debate, spiritual content, etc.
  • Category II: Poem

Competition Levels

Level I

  • No fixed themes or topics. Participants can submit their best creative writings in any form.
  • Duration: 15th July to 15th  October 2024
  • Result declaration date- 30th November 2024
  • Submission Mode: Online submission with pre-written article/poem/story/essay etc. The submission should be done through this link Monomousumi (weavermag.com)

Prizes in Level I

  • The first 35 winnersΒ will receive a certificate signed by Chetan Bhagat (through post)
  • Total 100 prizes (5 Trophies, 10 Gold, 10 Silver, 10 Bronze medals and 65 other prizes in the form of books) 
  • Chance to include the articles in the upcoming book
  • All the participants will receive gift couponsΒ sponsored by various corporate houses.Β 
  • Selected articles will be featured in Weaver Magazine
  • All other participants will receive an e-certificate

Guidelines

  • Participants can submit their entries asΒ essays, short stories, scripts, Poems, etc., or anything creative. There is no theme or fixed topic.
  • The minimum word count for Category I (Story, essay, etc.) is 500 words
  • There is no word limit for Category II (Poem)
  • The articles the participants submit will be published, and the link will be shared. Participants will be rewarded suitably based on the article’s popularity (ADDITIONAL SURPIZE PRIZES). So, participants are encouraged to share as many of their published articles as possible.
  • Multiple submissions are allowed.
  • Co-authorship is allowed. The prize will be fixed and needs to be shared. Certificates will be provided to all.
  • No plagiarism; no copyΒ is allowed.
