The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is excited to announce the First Round for the upcoming Heritage India Quiz 2024! This enriching event is a great opportunity for students to engage with Indiaβs rich cultural heritage while competing for merit recognition. Below are the essential details for the first round of the quiz.
Key Details of the Quiz
- Date of Online Test: October 29, 2024
- Time: 12:00 Noon IST
Quiz Format
- The quiz will take place online, and participants will need to access it through the official CBSE websites: www[dot]cbse[dot]nic[dot]in and www[dot]cbseacademic[dot]nic[dot]in.
- Registered schools can log in using their LOC credentials, similar to the registration process.
- The duration is of 60 minutes, which includes downloading the question paper, answering the quiz, reading the instructions, and uploading the answer sheet.
- There will be 60 questions, each worth 1 mark, with no negative marking. Teams are encouraged to submit their tests promptly after completion.
Merit Evaluation
- The merit list will be prepared on a zone-wise basis, considering the accuracy of answers and the shortest time taken to submit the answer sheet.
- Itβs important to note that all three students in a team must attempt the quiz together, as it is a team event.
Technical Requirements
To ensure a smooth experience during the quiz, participants must meet the following software and hardware requirements:
- Internet Speed: A high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps).
- Computer Configuration: A medium to high configuration computer with at least 8 GB RAM and the latest processor.
- Browser Compatibility: The quiz can be accessed on all browsers, but Google Chrome is recommended for optimal performance.
