About the Ministry of Education

The Ministry of Education (MoE) is a ministry of the Government of India, responsible for the implementation of the National Policy on Education. The ministry is further divided into two departments: the Department of School Education and Literacy, which deals with primary, secondary and higher secondary education, adult education and literacy, and the Department of Higher Education, which deals with university-level education, technical education, scholarships, etc.

Available Roles

On behalf of the Ministry of Education, EdCIL invites On-line Applications from eligible candidates for Principal Chief Consultant (2 positions), Chief Consultant (4 positions), Senior Consultant (7 positions), and Consultants (26 positions) on a contractual basis for the TSG – SS Project.

Instructions for Applying

Read the below instructions carefully, before filling up the form:

The candidate has to fill in the details to receive the User ID and Password.
The candidate will receive the User ID and Password on the registered email address and or on the registered mobile number. Candidates will receive both the User ID and Password on the registered email address.
Candidates can log in with the User ID and Password to complete the application form for TSG.
Candidate must provide Correct Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address as these details cannot be changed once the registration is completed.

Important Information

Only online applications will be accepted. Candidates applying for more than one post should submit a separate application for each post.
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
Engagement of Consultant(s) will be on a full-time (contractual) basis and their place of work will be New Delhi/Delhi.
The prescribed qualifications and experience should be acquired on or before 30/09/2023. Qualifications should be from Govt. recognized institutions.
Candidate should have strong oral & written communication skills with excellent working knowledge of computers (MS Word, MS Excel & PowerPoint etc.) and presentation skills.
The selection process will be based on academic/professional qualifications, and experience and may also include a Test of Writing Skills and/or Interview as may be decided depending on the total number of eligible applicants.
There will also be a waiting list prepared for each category of Consultants so that if the selected candidate does not join or any consequential vacancy arises, suitable candidates based on experience and qualifications from the waiting list will be allowed to join.
Candidates working in Government organizations/Public Sector Enterprises/Autonomous bodies must route their application through the proper channel if their department rule requires so.
Documents to prove Qualifications, Experience, Age, etc. have to be produced in original when called for a test of writing skills and/or an interview.
Age limit: not more than as indicated against each post as of September 30, 2023.
