About CBSE
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Government of India. Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education. There are more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE. All schools affiliated to CBSE follow the NCERT curriculum especially from class 9 to 12.

The PRASHAST App was launched during Shikshak Parv on 6th September, 2022 by CIET-NCERT. PRASHAST (Pre-Assessment Holistic Screening Tool) is a Disability Screening Mobile App which may be downloaded from the Google Play Store at the link given here.
The App is now available in 22 different Indian Languages included in the VIII Schedule of the Constitution.

With the aim of enhancing the usage and handholding of the users, one hour training program on the “PRASHAST App” by CIET-NCERT is planned from 11:00 am to 12 noon on the dates from 20th to 22nd August 2024 & again from 27th to 28th August 2024. This training will focus on orientation, resolving technical issues, and providing hands-on experience to ensure effective use of the PRASHAST App. The training is planned as per the schedule attached as Annexure. For participation, the teachers can join the programme on any one of the 5 days as per the schedule attached.
