About the Notification
The Ministry of Education, Government of India, continues its efforts to democratize quality education with the launch of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) through the SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) platform. From 16 April 2025 to 15 September 2025, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is offering a rich bouquet of 28 online courses for students of Classes XI and XII.
These online courses, accessible through the SWAYAM portal and mobile app, aim to supplement and strengthen the academic journey of senior secondary students by offering flexibility, expert instruction, and engaging digital content.

The MOOCs cover 11 major subject areas, ensuring that students across streams find something that caters to their academic needs:
