Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly evolved from a futuristic concept to a ubiquitous technology that
impacts our daily lives. Thus, creating a need for the youth to understand AI’s importance and responsible
usage.
CBSE aims not merely to produce students with technical proficiency in AI, but to nurture them as problem solvers who can innovatively apply AI to address real-world issues and also to support schools to facilitate building an AI mindset in students to prepare them for future job opportunities.
With this goal, CBSE in support with IBM offers a gamified learning path for students to learn about the recent advances in generative AI through Digital Credentials on the IBM SkillsBuild platform and hands on challenges. A detailed roadmap of the program is annexed.
A number of exciting opportunities await the students. Students obtaining their Digital Credentials on SkillsBuild will be eligible to participate in the Future Tech Olympiad taking place in September-October
2023 to win medals and certificates and the Future Tech Imagination Challenge in November 2023 to
win a virtual internship experience.
Schools with maximum participation and learning completions along with the respective school coordinators will be felicitated at a special event.
Principals and Teacher Coordinators of registering schools will be invited for a special virtual Orientation Session on Generative AI and the IBM SkillsBuild program on 31st August 2023 at 11:00 AM.

- The program is open to students of classes VI-XII.
- The program is completely free of cost.
- Schools registering for the program will be contacted by IBM or its implementation partner 1M1B.
