About CBSE

TheΒ Central Board of Secondary EducationΒ (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by theΒ Government of India. Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education. There are more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE. CIET-NCERT is organizing a five hours’ online training series on β€œDevelopment of e-Content for Teaching
and Learning of Science” from January 22 – 26, 2024 from 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm to leverage the
understanding of teachers, students, administrators, and other stakeholders of school education on the
need, importance, development and usage of interactive resources in Science Education.

The online training will be live telecast on NCERT official YouTube channel -https://www.youtube.com/c/NCERTOFFICIAL and also be simulcast through PM eVidya channel. The
participants who appear in the post training quiz, score 70% and above will be issued a certificate of
participation.

All Principals/Heads of schools affiliated to CBSE are requested to disseminate the information amongst all teachers and students of their respective schools and encourage them for participation in the programme and take the benefit through it.
