About CBSE
The Central Board of Secondary Education is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Government of India.Β
Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education. There are more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE. All schools affiliated to CBSE follow theΒ NCERTΒ curriculum especially from class 9 to 12.

In pursuance of the vision of NEP, 2020 making education more holistic and effective by integrating general (academic) and vocational education while ensuring the vertical and horizontal mobility of the students and learners between academic and vocational streams, National Credit Framework (NCrF) has been formulated which is a comprehensive credit framework encompassing vocational education integrating creditization of learning in various dimensions i.e. vocational skills, academic etc and experiential learning including relevant experience and proficiency/professional levels acquired.
In this connection, Department of Skill Education, CBSE is going to organize a series of sensitization /awareness programs on National Credit Framework (NCrF) for the Principals/Headmaster/ Headmistress/Teachers of CBSE affiliated schools, as per below details:

Therefore, all CBSE affiliated schools are requested to nominate their representatives (Principals/Headmaster/Headmistress/Teachers) for the above-mentioned workshops to have an insight on the creditization framework. Heads of schools having the Board examination centers can refrain from attending the workshops in person, however, they are requested to send an appropriate representative from their respective schools.
