CBSE has released a notification regarding call for articles and cover design for CENBOSEC January–June 2025 Edition. Submit by July 20!
About the Notification
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is pleased to invite schools across the country to contribute to the upcoming edition of CENBOSEC, the Board’s biannual e-magazine. More than just a publication, CENBOSEC is a collaborative platform that celebrates innovation, reflects educational practices, and showcases stories from schools shaping the future of India’s learning landscape.
Theme: Multilingualism for an Inclusive India
Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE) 2023, this edition focuses on how linguistic diversity can promote inclusive, engaging, and holistic education. At its heart lies the recognition of the Matri Bhasha (mother tongue) as a powerful medium to nurture understanding, identity, and creativity in learners.
Who Can Participate?
- Educators (Principals & Teachers) are invited to contribute original articles (in Hindi or English) exploring any one of the sub-themes.
- Students are encouraged to submit creative cover designs aligned with the theme.
Sub-Themes for Articles
- Matri Bhasha: The Foundation of Learning
- Lesson plans, classroom activities, and reflections promoting mother tongue use, especially in early education.
- Languages: Windows to Culture and Identity
- Articles linking language education with cultural traditions, festivals, and heritage-based projects.
- Technology Tools for Language Learning
- Success stories involving edtech: language apps, digital storytelling, blended learning.
- Multilingual Minds, Global Citizens
- Descriptions of multilingual classrooms, global collaborations, and exchange initiatives.
- Top 20 articles will be selected for publication by an expert committee.
Cover Design Competition for Students
Students can participate by designing a creative, theme-based cover for the CENBOSEC January–June 2025 issue. The best student design will be featured as the official cover!
Submission Guidelines
- All entries must be original.
- Only one article or one cover design may be submitted per individual.
- Guidelines are available in Annexure 1 of the official CBSE circular. Access previous editions of the e-magazine here.
