The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Government of India. Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education. There are more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE. All schools affiliated to CBSE follow the NCERT curriculum especially from class 9 to 12. As you are aware, India’s pursuit of space exploration is on the verge of a remarkable milestone with the impending Chandrayaan-3 Mission, poised to achieve a landing on the Moon. This marks not only a quantum step forward for Indian Science, Engineering, Technology, and Industry but also for Brand India.
This event will be broadcasted live on August 23, 2023, starting from 05:20 pm. The live coverage will be available via multiple platforms as follows:

The landing of India’s Chanclrayaan-3 on the moon is a monumental occasion that will not only fuel curiosity but also spark a passion for exploration within the minds of our youth. It will generate a profound sense of pride and unity as we collectively celebrate the prowess of Indian science and technology. It will contribute to fostering of an environment of scientific inquiry and innovation. The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India will also join the Nation in witnessing this momentous occasion.
In view of above, the schools may make arrangements for students and teachers on 23.08.2023 (wherever feasible) to witness the Live Streaming of Chandrayaan-3 landing on the moon. For the remaining schools, the same could be shown on 24.08.2023. Further, the students and teachers may watch it from home also.
