About the Organizer
ElemenTree is a for-mission organization working towards Climate Education to empower future generations for climate adaptation and Action.
About the Program
The fellowship program focuses on creating an understanding among students about Climate Change and initiating local projects at the individual level.
The 8-week-long program takes on a journey to understand the cause of climate change and work on assignments to link to impacts observed around.
They invite guest speakers working on different dimensions of climate change to help students envision their capstone projects and work on climate projects at the individual level.
Objectives
- To enhance climate change education and create awareness.
- Empower youth to lead the Climate Action Front locally.
- Develop 21st-Century leadership skills in young leaders.
- To create a community of passionate young climate leaders.
Climate Curriculum
They follow a comprehensive and locally-contextualized curriculum focusing on climate science and the socioeconomic impact of climate change.
