BPR&D under Ministry of Home Affairs in Collaboration with MyGov is inviting submissions for Video Story Competition on 3 New Criminal Law.

MyGov has been established as Government of India’s Citizen Engagement Platform which collaborates with multiple Government bodies/ Ministries to engage with citizens for policy formulation and seeks the opinion of people on issues/ topics of public interest and welfare.

About the Competition

Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in collaboration with MyGov invites the citizens especially the youth in its pursuit to make people more aware of the New Criminal Laws:

  • Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023
  • Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023
  • Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023

Eligibility

The competition is open to Indian citizens.

  • Duration of video – 2 to 5 minutes

  • Enhancement of Police Transparency

  • Victim-Centric New Criminal Laws

These short videos created by the participants will help us generate more awareness among the youth (university/school children) of this country and the winning short videos will be shared with the various stakeholders of the criminal justice system.

Gratification

From all the mentioned 10 topics – 1 Winner from each topic will receive the prize money of ₹ 10,000/-

  • All the participants to ensure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since this profile shall be used for further communication.
  • The video should be in MP4 format of 2-5 Minutes.
  • Submissions beyond the last date and time of submission shall not be considered.
  • The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
  • Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has the right to cancel or amend all or any part of this Contest and/ or the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/Evaluation Criteria.
