On the eve of 8th Siddha Day, The Central Council for Research in Siddha under Ministry of Ayush is organizing a reel-making competition in collaboration with MyGov.

About the Contest

The reel should highlight the features and/or benefits of Siddha Medicine to Indian citizens. The participants can share their views & experience about Siddha Medicine in the form of 30-60 seconds’ reel.

They can talk about how Siddha Medicine has added value in their life & how this positive transformation of holistic wellness is achieved. There should be no offensive words or derogatory contents (political/ religious/ inappropriate slur).

Topics

One of the following topics can be considered as broad themes for the competition:

  • Benefits of Siddha System of Medicine to the public in disease prevention and management.
  • Siddha system of Medicine for specific Health Condition- Personal experience.
  • Siddha way of healthy living.
  • Siddha Culinary medicine.

Eligibility

Entry into the contest is open to all citizens of India.

Submission Format

  • A portrait-mode MP4 video of a maximum 60 seconds.
  • The reel must be submitted as portrait-mode MP4 video, with a maximum duration of 90 seconds.
  • The reel can be submitted in any Indian language preferably Tamil, Hindi and English.
  • Use of any offensive words or derogatory content/images/inappropriate slur must be avoided.
  • All submissions must be original and not infringe upon any existing copyrights or trademarks.
  • The organizers shall not be responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, or could not be submitted due to any issue/error, technical or otherwise, which is beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.
  • The organizers reserve the right to disqualify and/or refuse/restrict the participation of anyone, if, in their reasonable assessment, such participation and/or association of any participant is detrimental to the contest and/or organizers and/or partners of the contest.
  • The content must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, of 1957. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright would be disqualified from the competition. CCRS does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.
