About the Organiser
Virudhunagar district came into existence by the bifurcation of Ramanathapuram district vide State Government Notification, G.O. Ms. 347 dated 8.3.1985. It is bounded on north by Madurai and Sivagangai district, south by Tirunelveli and Tuticorin district, east by Ramanathapuram district, west by Kerala state and northwest by Theni district. The administrative headquarters of Virudhunagar district is located at Virudhunagar town. Virudhunagar district consists of three Revenue divisions, ten taluks, 39 Firkas and 600 Revenue Villages.
About the Competition
The Virudhunagar District Administration is hosting the National Voters’ Day State Level Quiz Competition 2025 to promote voter awareness and democratic values. Open to participants across the state, the event encourages knowledge on electoral processes and civic responsibility.
Eligibility
Participants must be aged 16 or above.
Rules & Regulations
- Questions will be asked in both Tamil and English.
- Only Teams are allowed participate. Each Team can have a maximum of Two members.
- Any number of teams can participate from students and the public (Participants must be aged 16 or above)
- Only registered participants are allowed, spot registration is not permitted.
- Participants must bring their ID cards (Ex:- Adhaar/Voter ID /etc.,)
- Lunch will be provided to all participants.
- The Competition will be conducted on “25.01.2025 at 9.00 AM” in “Government Medical College, Virudhunagar”.
- “Indian Elections” is the topic of the competition.
- The competition will be conducted in “multiple rounds”
- The First three rounds will be conducted using a coding sheet
- Participants must bring a “blue or black ballpoint pen” for shading on the Coding sheet
- The Final round will be conducted as an “Oral Round”.
