National Tourism Day, observed every year on 25th January, underscores the pivotal role tourism plays in fostering economic growth, cultural exchange, and sustainable development across India. This year’s theme highlights the extraordinary diversity of Ladakh, inviting participants to embark on a virtual expedition through its unique offerings.
The Discover Ladakh Quiz is designed to inform and inspire, featuring questions spanning Ladakh’s magnificent wildlife, renowned tourist attractions, traditional cuisine, high mountain passes, and vibrant cultural heritage. Whether you’re an avid traveller or simply curious about Ladakh’s unparalleled charm, this quiz will enlighten you about the region’s multifaceted identity.

- Top 3 winners will be selected from the top scorers and will receive ₹5,000/- each, along with a winner’s e-certificate.
- Every participant will receive e-certificate of participation.
Terms and Conditions
- Quiz is open for all Indian Citizens.
- Quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Play Quiz’.
- The quiz is available in English only.
- There is no negative marking in the quiz.
- Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted.
- It is a time-bound quiz: you will have 300 seconds to answer 10 questions.
- The Department of Tourism, Union Territory of Ladakh will disburse the winning amount and e-certificate to the selected winner(s) after publishing the winner announcement Blog on blog.mygov.in and official website of Department of Tourism, Union Territory of Ladakh.
- Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.
- Participants need to ensure their MyGov profile is updated for further communication. An incomplete profile will not be eligible to become the Winner.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Department of Tourism, Union Territory of Ladakh reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered.
- The participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates.
- The decision of the Department of Tourism, Union Territory of Ladakh on the Quiz shall be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.
- All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves.
- The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system.
