Quiz Details

DePWD has organized Indian Sign Language 2024 Quiz on the MyGov platform. The quiz is organized to celebrate the cultural diversity and linguistic identity of all deaf individuals as well as sign language users as part of the observation of International Day of Sign Language celebrated on 23rd September each year.

This Day advocates the use of Sign Language as not restricted to the deaf community. The Quiz is organized also to highlight the specific features of ISL and Deaf culture in India.

Every year International Sign Language Day is celebrated world over on 23rd September.

This day advocates that Sign Language is for everyone and not restricted to deaf community.

Guidelines

  • The Quiz questions are designed carefully to assess the knowledge and understanding about sign languages.
  • Each Question carries 1 mark. Participants are required to attempt all questions in total.
  • Participants will be required to answer 10 questions within 100 seconds.
  • Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
  • Participants will be required to provide their name, email address, telephone number, and additional details as required by the entry form. By submitting their details and participating in the quiz, participants give consent to MyGov and Ministry of Culture to use this information as required to facilitate the conduct of the quiz competition which may include confirmation of participant details.
  • Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted.
  • After responding to a question, click on the “Next Question” button to go to the next question.
  • No negative marking will be done.
  • After attempting questions, a final submission should be clicked. No changes can be made after the final submission.
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered.
