About the Contest
National e-Governance Division, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in collaboration with MyGov invites the public to craft a compelling tagline that represents OpenForgeβs commitment to bringing transparency and innovation to government projects through collaborative coding. Whether youβre a developer, student, or digital enthusiast, share a tagline that captures the spirit of OpenForgeβs mission.
Objective
Inspire participants to encapsulate OpenForgeβs mission of collaborative, open-source governance in a single, impactful tagline and slogan contest.

- 1st Prize: Rs. 20,000/-

Terms and Conditions
- This competition is open to all the citizens of India.
- The entry is required to be submitted on the MyGov portal.
- The entry can be submitted in either English or Hindi.
- Participants can take part in the contest by registering on MyGov (www.mygov.in)
- The content must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, of 1957. Anyone found infringing on othersβ copyright would be disqualified from the competition. The government of India does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.
- Copyrights will solely be with NeGD, Ministry of Electronics and IT once submitted for the competition.
- The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content. There will be no notification to participants of entries not short-listed. All entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, originality, and composition by the NeGD.
- NeGD, MeitY reserves the right to reject any entry, which it does not feel is suitable or
appropriate or which does not conform to any of the conditions listed above. - NeGD, MeitY reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and/ or the Terms & Conditions/Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria and withdraw the activity at any time. The participants are solely responsible for keeping themselves updated regarding the same.
- Any changes by NeGD, MeitY to the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/Evaluation Criteria, or cancellation of the Contest, will be updated/ posted on the MyGov platform.
- NeGD and MyGov accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, or injury of any kind
suffered by any participants in entering the contest, including because of any participantβs entry getting short listed or not getting short listed. - In case of any dispute, the juryβs decision will be final.
- NeGD and MyGov will not accept any responsibility for lost entries, late or incomplete, or
not transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizerβs reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same. - In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or
withdraw from the competition at any time. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes the
right to amend these terms and conditions. - By entering the competition, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, mentioned here.
- The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system.
