Registrations are invited for SciNQuest 2024-25 Competition for School Students by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Students in classes 5 to 12 are eligible to participate.

Competition Details
SciNQuest 2024-2025 is a prestigious competition designed to ignite curiosity and foster a passion for science among school students across the country. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, one of Indiaβs top-ranked educational institutions, is hosting this exciting event that challenges young minds across a various scientific disciplines including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Life Sciences, and Environmental Science.
Participants will be encouraged to apply their knowledge to solve complex problems, and think critically, making it a thrilling experience of their scientific skills. The final phases of events will take place on 10th and 11th of January 2025 at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, Kollam, Kerala.
By participating in theΒ SciNQuest 2024-2025, students not only compete for awards but also gain valuable experience and insights that help shape their academic and professional futures in the fields of science and technology.
Categories
In theΒ SciNQuest 2024-2025, students will have the opportunity to participate in three major competitions.
- MathQuest β Math Olympiad.
- BrainQuest β Quiz Competition.
- FutureQuest β Science Exhibition-cum-competition.
MathQuest and BrainQuest will be conducted at two phases. The first phase will be conducted online, and the second phase will be conducted at Amritapuri campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. FutureQuest will have a single round of evaluation, which will take place at Amritapuri campus.
Apart from the competitions, there will be workshops and invited lectures by scientific experts in various fields. The participants are also allowed visit various research labs and facilities of the campus.
Eligibility
- The Amrita Science Olympiad is primarily intended for high school and higher secondary students. However, exceptionally outstanding students from lower grades may also be considered for participation.
- Participant must be an Indian citizen studying in any School which offer high school or higher secondary schooling based on any Indian system of study.
- Must be studying in Class V to XII at the time of enrolment.
- Must not have passed (or scheduled to complete) Class XII board examination earlier than 30 November, 2024.
- Must not have commenced (or planning to commence) studies in a university or equivalent institution by 1 June, 2025.
