Job Details

This role gives you a a chance to work at one of our Azim Premji Schools. Our schools are an integral part of our vision to improve K-12 education and work towards providing quality education with an emphasis on instilling constitutional values through teaching-learning practices both within and beyond the classroom. Their schools are located in in districts in four states – Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Karnataka.

The focus of this role will be:

  • Facilitate learning for children from diverse backgrounds, interests and abilities through participative classroom processes.
  • Encourage active discovery and independent learning.
  • Develop curriculum and content based on the context of the children.
  • Develop curricular plan and achieve curricular objectives for each child.
  • Engage with community and parents to ensure their participation in school processes.

Eligibility

  • For pre-primary: 12th graduation along with NTT or equivalent teacher training course.
  • For Primary: Graduation along with D.Ed/B.Ed.
  • For Higher Secondary teachers: Master’s degree in English/Chemistry/Physics/Biology/Political Science along with B.Ed.
  • A minimum of two years’ teaching experience.
  • Language proficiency in Hindi and English.

Guidelines

  • Online test for school teachers will be conducted on October 26, 2024.
  • For shortlisted candidates, the written tests will be conducted digitally.
  • Physical test option will be only where necessary in certain locations.
  • Test results will be shared with participants on their registered email IDs.
  • The state recruitment teams will also be in touch with selected candidates for the next step of interviews.
