Competition Details
The popular Childrenβs Story Competition is back for another year with a brand new theme, new judge and great prizes up for grabs!
Itβs simple, all you need to do is write a story of up to 500 words based around the theme β βKindness.β
Your story can be about anything so long as the central theme is kindness.Β
Maybe you wake up and all of the kindness in the world has gone. What would happen? Would you try to restart acts of kindness in the world?Β
Maybe youβre inspired by something kind someone has done for you, or perhaps you want to write about what would happen to the ocean if the sharks started being kind to all sea creatures.
You can be as creative as you want, so long as your story is about kindness, you can create anything your imagination drums up.
Stories should be typed in either Times New Roman or Arial 12pt, with double line spacing. Include the title of your story as a header on each page submitted. For safeguarding purposes do not put the authorβs name on the story. Include the word count at the end of your story.Β
Eligibility
This worldwide competition is open to anyone aged 7 to 12 years residing anywhere in the world on 13th May 2024. Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested. The responsible adult submitting the story on behalf of the entrant will be asked to provide the entrantβs name, age and date of birth and ensure that they have parental permission to do so.Β
