2. Diploma Course in Language Training Programme by Central Institute of Language Training

10-Month Diploma in Language Training Programme is a full time Diploma course includes Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Course(s) for 14, 12 and 12 weeks respectively, with two weeks of language environment tour. There is 5.5 hours of instruction on each working day; thus the entire programme consists 1085 hours of effective language instruction to the trainees. Periodical tests and final examination are conducted at the end of each term. In the first stage of 14 weeks, all four skills, viz., listening, speaking, reading and writing are expected to be mastered by the trainees.

  • Eligibility: In-service teachers, prospective teachers, research scholars and general public may submit their applications to the Director, Central Institute of Indian Languages Manasagangotri, Mysuru-570006 on or before the date mentioned above.
