Registrations are invited for ARSH for You: A Teacher Training Programme on Adolescent Health and Well-Being by Educately. The course is free of cost.
EDUCATELY is administered by the Population Foundation of India, a leading non-profit organization that works on advocating gender sensitive population, health and development policies. Population Foundation of India is dedicated to communicating in the idioms and technologies of young people, advocating for policy changes informed by evidence, and is committed to the empowerment of women and girls.
This programme introduces you to the basic principles that impact adolescent health and well-being. These comprise discussions on growth and changes in the human body, factors that impact identity, such as sex, gender and sexuality, relationships, and conception and contraception.
ARSH for You follows a rights-based and pleasure-affirming approach as outlined in the UNESCO Guidelines (2018) and the IPPF Framework (2010) for Comprehensive Sexuality Education.
This program is designed to train educators to talk about and provide accurate information to adolescents on their reproductive and sexual health and rights (also known as ARSH: Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual Health).
The course is free of cost.
