The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is organizing 2 Days of Teachers Training on the Multi Skill Foundation Skill Course from October 17 to 18 in an offline mode.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national-level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Government of India.
Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education. There are more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated with the CBSE.
New Education Policy 2020 recognizes the need for teachers to get trained in high-quality content and as well as pedagogy. This policy further emphasizes the need for training so that the same may be exhibited in the classroom teaching-learning.
For this purpose, the Board is going to offer teachers training to the teachers teaching the Multi Skill Foundation Course. The training dates are October 17 and 18, 2023.
