Applications are invited for Weekend Acting Course for Class 12 Passed Students at National School of Drama, Delhi.
National School of Drama (NSD) is a theatre training institute situated at New Delhi, India. It is an autonomous organization under Ministry of Culture, Government of India. It was set up in 1959 by the Sangeet Natak Akademi and became an independent school in 1975. In 2005, it was granted deemed university status, but in 2011 it was revoked. Paresh Rawal is the current Chairperson & Chittaranjan Tripathy currently serves as Director of National School of Drama (NSD).
National School of Drama invites application to Weekend acting course (part time, non residential). The course aims at professional training to students in the area of acting.
The course will start from 09th December 2024, there are total 25 seats in each stream. Medium of instructions Hindi/English.
The course will be conducted on Weekend from 02.00 PM. to 06.00 P.M. Selected student will have to present their original testimonial as and when required basis.
The selection is a two tier process. The candidate should appear for the preliminary examination, if selected then required to appear for a final examination workshop.
Centre for preliminary examination and final workshop will be NSD, New Delhi. The candidates will be intimated about date of preliminary examination through email and it will also be available on NSD website, the schedule is subject to change, study material and guidelines for the preliminary examination/audition will be available on website on 15.11.2024.
