Applications are invited for MA in Education Technology 2024-25 by NCERT and Regional Institute of Education, Nellore. The last date of application is November 18, 2024.
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) was established by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, on 1 September 1961.
The NCERT has 8 Constituent units viz. National Institute of Education (NIE) at New Delhi; two central institutes viz., Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) at Delhi and Pandit Sudarlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education, (PSSCIVE) at Bhopal; and five Regional Institutes of Education (RIE) located at Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysuru, And Shillong. A new Regional Institute of Education is coming up at the coastal city, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. RIE Nellore is about to start its journey by offering a degree titled “M. A. Education Technology.”
NCERT, right from its inception, has catered to the aspirations and contextual needs of our nation. It has been at the forefront of pedagogical innovation, by devising and implementing innovative teacher education programmes. NEP-2020 strongly advocates integrating technology with education and learning.
In response, RIE, Nellore is going to launch a two year Master’s programme in Education Technology in the 2024-25 academic year. The programme will be run at the transit campus, V. R College, located at the heart of the city of Nellore. This initiative looks toward the future of education and will benefit many youngsters.
