Applications are invited for the Postgraduate Certificate Course in the Teaching of English Language by Regional Institute of English, Chandigarh. The last date of application is July 12, 2024.
The Regional Institute of English (RIE) is a higher education institution governed by UGC rules. It was established in 1963 under a scheme of the Government of India to address the educational needs of the North Indian states. The functioning of the Institute is within the purview of the Chandigarh Administration.
Applications are invited for admission to the 121, 14 – week Postgraduate Certificate in the Teaching OT English (PGCTE), a blended teacher-training programme commencing on 15 July 2024. It will conclude on 19 October 2024. The 9 – week face to face component (15 – 07 – 2024 to 13 – 09- 2024) of the programme will be conducted at RIE -Sector 32, Chandigarh. The 5 – week online component of the programme (16 – 09- 2024 to 19- 10 – 2024) will be conducted online and the participants will return to their place of work for the online mode. The course is also open for teacher aspirants.
Prospectus and application forms are available at the institute’s website from 1 June 2024 and also at the office counter during the institute hours from Monday to Friday.
The applicants can pay the application fee of Rs. 200/- online (Bank details are available on the website).
The course fee and the form fee are to be deposited in the Bank Account of this institute. The proof of payment must be submitted to this office via email/Whatsapp No. 7696678395/post. The original receipt is to be submitted to the institute on joining the programme.
