Submissions are invited for Time to Write 2025: Creative Writing Competition for School Students by Independent Schools Examination Board. The last date of submission is February 2, 2025.
The Independent Schools Examinations Board (ISEB) provides the most well-known and respected examinations and assessments for pupils transitioning from prep and junior schools to senior schools in the UK, designing and setting the Common Entrance assessments, and the online, adaptive ISEB Pre-Tests.
Time to Write 2025 is open to all schools, with four categories across different age groups, and prizes for both the winning writers and their schools. The writing prompt for 2025 is ‘Light’.
Time to Write is open to all pupils aged 7-16 years as of 2 February 2025. Stories must be written by an individual and not by a pair, or writing team.
The winning writers in each category will see themselves in print, as each will have their story turned into an illustrated book! Prizes will also be awarded to the winning writers’ schools. Further prizes will be on offer for the runners up in each category.
A range of exciting prizes are on offer for the winning writers and their schools, as well as for runners up!
Interested participants can submit online via this link.
The last date of submission is February 2, 2025.
