Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS), Kolkata is an Autonomous Registered Society under West Bengal Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 (No.S/4353 of 1960-61). This organisation is promoted by the Government of West Bengal and administered by a Governing Body with representatives from the State Government, Academics and Industry.
Conceptualized in 1958 by visionaries such as Dr. B C Roy and Sir Jehangir Ghandy, JBNSTS was initiated to commemorate the Birth Centenary Celebration of India’s first modern scientist, Acharya J C Bose. The program was inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It enjoys status of a special institution as declared by Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.
Applications are invited for Senior Talent Search Test / Senior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britt 2024 for Class 12 Passed Students by Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search.
Students who have passed / appeared in (10+2) Board examination (WBCHSE / CBSE / ISC / Visva-Bharati Board) in the year 2024 and are studying / aspiring to study Science (Hons.) (subjects acceptable under the scope of DST-Inspire scholarship).[General & Diploma, Nursing course students are not eligible] (BS-MS /Engg. / Medicine in West Bengal.
Senior Talent Search Test / Senior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti is a 3 Hours duration examination with full marks of 100.
