The Management Entrepreneurship Professional Skills Council (MEPSC), under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with ThinkStartup, announces the commencement of School Youth Ideathon 2025 — one of India’s most significant K–12 school-level entrepreneurship festivals. This initiative aims to harness innovation and entrepreneurial potential among young minds across schools in India.
The School Youth Ideathon 2025 will be officially launched on 6th October 2025. The guiding theme for this year is “Nayi Soch Naya Bharat”, which encourages students to think creatively and contribute to building a progressive and self-reliant nation.
The Final Pitch and Showcase will take place on 19th–20th December 2025, where selected participants will present their innovative ideas before a distinguished panel.
Grades 6-12
The Youth Ideathon is a five-stage, free national-level competition designed for students from Classes 4 to 12. The initiative seeks to promote problem-solving, innovation, and entrepreneurship at the school level by encouraging students to identify ground-level challenges and develop practical, creative solutions.
Following the grand finale, selected teams with exceptional entrepreneurial ideas will be invited to participate in a Live Startup Pitch at the CBSE Studios before a panel of angel investors. This session will also be webcast live on the CBSE YouTube Channel and provide students with a national platform to present their ideas.
The program also includes Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) aimed at enhancing the capacity of teachers who mentor and guide student innovators. Interested teachers may register for these workshops at this link.
