The Bureau of Energy Efficiency, India in collaboration with MyGov, India is organizing Poster Making Competition on Energy Conservation in online mode.
The Bureau of Energy Efficiency is an agency of the Government of India, under the Ministry of Power, created in March 2002 under the provisions of the nation’s 2001 Energy Conservation Act. The agency’s function is to encourage the efficient use of energy in India by developing programs to support it.
MyGov is an innovative platform to build a partnership between Citizens and Government with the help of technology for the growth and development of India. MyGov is part of Digital India Corporation, a Section 8 company under the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India.
The National Energy Conservation Day is being celebrated every year on December 14 since 1991. The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), under the aegis of the Ministry of Power, spearheads the celebrations every year. The objective to celebrate National Energy Conservation Day is to drive mass awareness about the importance of energy efficiency and conservation.

The competition is open to all Indian citizens.
