Registrations are invited for Online Quiz on First National Space Day 2024 by ISRO RACS and MNIT Jaipur. The last date of registration is August 2, 2024.
Regional Academic Centre for Space (RAC-S) is a regional level new initiative to pursue advanced research in the areas of relevance to the future technological and programmatic needs of the Indian Space Programme and act as a facilitator for the promotion of space technology activities in the region.
The selected institute for the establishment of RAC-S will coordinate the research activities and will act as the lead centre. RAC-S will also engage other institutes of excellence in the area of Science and Technology in the region to take part in the research and development activities of the centre. The lead centre will become an ambassador for capacity building, awareness creation and R & D activities of ISRO, in the region.
The centre will be headed by a regional coordinator, who will be identified by RAC-S from its existing staff. The Regional Coordinator of the RAC-S shall be responsible for overall management of the RAC-S, including its day – to – day functioning and recommending all expenditures under the approved budget of the RAC-S.
The Institute was jointly established in 1963 as Malaviya Regional Engineering College Jaipur by the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. Subsequently, on 26 June, 2002, the college was given the status of National Institute of Technology. On 15 August 2007, it was recognized as the Institute of National Importance through an Act of Parliament. The Institute is fully funded by the Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), Government of India.
Registrations are invited for Online Quiz on First National Space Day 2024 by ISRO RACS and MNIT Jaipur. The theme of the quiz is Space Technology. The quiz will comprise 40 objective questions. The quiz will be for 30 minutes from 12.30-1.00 pm on 4 August. All registered participants will be mailed an online link of the quiz 15 min before the start time.
All the participants will receive e-certificates. There are attractive prizes for the winners.
