JNU and Ministry of Environment are organising an Online Quiz Contest on World Ozone Day. Participate by September 16, 2024 as E-Certificates await!
World Ozone Day is observed every year on September 16 to commemorate the signing of the Montreal Protocol, a landmark agreement that has significantly contributed to the protection of the ozone layer and the fight against climate change. This year, the theme is “Montreal Protocol: Advancing Climate Action,” emphasizing the vital role that the Protocol continues to play in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting the environment.
In celebration of this global event, an Online Quiz Contest is being organized by the JNU-EIACP Resource Partner on ‘Geodiversity & Impact on Environment,’ in collaboration with the School of Environmental Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. This exciting initiative is supported by the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) under the Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building, and Livelihood Programme (EIACP).
This quiz contest offers participants the chance to deepen their knowledge of environmental issues, the ozone layer, and climate action. Whether you are a student, a professional, or simply someone interested in environmental conservation, this event provides a platform to learn and contribute to global awareness.
For each correct answer, participants will earn 1 mark. There will be no negative marking for incorrect responses, ensuring that participants can attempt all questions without hesitation.
All participants will be awarded an E-Certificate for their efforts, a token of appreciation for their contribution to raising environmental awareness.
This quiz contest is organized by JNU-EIACP Resource Partner on ‘Geodiversity & Impact on Environment’, part of JNU’s prestigious School of Environmental Sciences. The event is part of a larger awareness initiative supported by MoEF&CC to engage the public on critical environmental issues.
