Submissions are invited for Nikon Small World In Motion Video Competition 2024. The last date of submission is April 30, 2024.
Nikon Corporation, also known just as Nikon, is a Japanese multinational corporation headquartered in Tokyo, Japan; it specializes in creating and marketing optics and imaging products. The companies held by Nikon form the Nikon Group.
The Nikon Small World Competition first began in 1975 as a means to recognize and applaud the efforts of those involved with photography through the light microscope. Since then, Small World has become a leading showcase for photomicrographers from the widest array of scientific disciplines.
The video competition, entitled Small World In Motion encompasses any movie or digital time-lapse photography taken through the microscope.
The Nikon Small World in Motion Video Competition is open only to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry and have access to a light microscope.
There will be five (5) winners ranked from first (1st) place through fifth (5th) place, plus Honorable Mention prizes if and as determined by the Judges.
