The Ministry of Ayush, a ministry of the Government of India, is responsible for developing education, research and propagation of traditional medicine systems in India. Ayush is a name devised from the names of the alternative healthcare systems covered by the ministry: Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa Rigpa, and Homeopathy.
MyGov is a citizen engagement platform launched by the Government of India on 26 July 2014 to promote the active participation of Indian citizens in their country’s governance and development. It is aimed at creating a common platform for Indian citizens to “crowdsource governance ideas from citizens”.
Use of Naturopathy is widespread in our day-to-day life in preventive and curative care. However, the understanding of the science behind its practice amongst the public remains unclear. The naturopathy Wisdom quiz is intended to know about the Naturopathy knowledge prevalent amongst the public and indirectly to give clues on natural living.
