World Space Week 2024 National Astro Toon Competition by SPACE India

Submissions are invited for World Space Week 2024: National Astro Toon Competition by SPACE India. The last date of submission is October 15, 2024.

Space Technology and Education Pvt. Ltd., also recognized as SPACE India, is a pioneer organization with a legacy of 24 years in developing and popularizing Astronomy, Space Science, and STEM education and experiences at Grassroots level (K-12) and beyond. As a registered Space Tutor of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), SPACE India has been instrumental in creating an impact through science, and aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

In 2024, World Space Week (WSW) focuses on “Space and Climate change.” This theme celebrates the transformative impact of space technology in our ongoing battle against climate change, emphasizing the proactive role space exploration plays in enhancing our understanding and management of Earth’s climate.

This competition invites students to create a video podcast where they discuss or demonstrate the ways space technology is contributing to climate change solutions. Participants are encouraged to use scientific evidence and creative storytelling to highlight space innovations that promote environmental sustainability.
