The Ministry of Defence in collaboration with MyGov is organizing a Logo Design Contest for Kargil Vijay Rajat Jayanti Mahotsav. The last date for submission of entries is July 19, 2023.
The Ministry of Defence is charged with coordinating and supervising all agencies and functions of the government relating directly to national security and the Indian Armed Forces.
MyGov is a citizen engagement platform launched by the Government of India on July 26, 2014, to promote the active participation of Indian citizens in their country’s governance and development.
Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed on July 26th every year to mark the victory of the Indian Army in the Kargil War of 1999. To celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a year-long programme has been planned which would commence on July 26, 2023.
In a view to select a logo for this Mahotsav, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov is organizing an online contest inviting Logo for the citizens (aged 14 and above) to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas in honour of the Kargil War’s Heroes.
The competition is open to all Indian Citizens aged 14 years and above.
The Best Entry will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.
