The Learner’s Collective Foundation is organising LC Online Essay Writing Contest 2025. The last date of submission is January 31.
Learners’ Collective Foundation is a registered not-for-profit organisation started to provide for a learner led education. It is started by a group of like minded parents who have understood the perils of conventional schooling and have started exploring different ways of learning.
The foundation is starting a learning centre at Sadhana Vidyalaya in Sion that will be a space for learning for children between 5 to 18 years of age. The vision of the foundation is also to spread awareness about alternative methodologies and open learning centres that promote such educational philosophies.
This centre is a complete alternative to the conventional schooling, where children will spend their time exploring their interests with the help of adult facilitators. There will be no formal board or fixed curriculum.
The Learners’ Collective Foundation invites young writers to participate in an essay competition. This is an opportunity for children to hone their writing skills, think creatively and express their thoughts on a larger platform. This competition will also give them an opportunity to meet with fellow writers their age and learn from acclaimed writers.
Need for inclusivity in the world today is even more. Young voices need to be brought to surface so that they are heard. The winners’ essays will be published on our website as part of our attempt to showcase voices from different backgrounds.
This competition is going to be held completely online. There are two broad categories for entry.
Interested candidates can register via this page.
Registration Fee: ₹100.
