The International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago is excited to announce the call for submissions for the 41st Chicago Latino Film Festival Poster Competition. This prestigious festival, taking place from April 3-14, 2025, has been a platform for showcasing the rich and diverse selection of films from Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, Portugal, and the United States for over four decades. As the oldest festival of its kind in the U.S., it continues to celebrate the vibrant cultures of Iberoamerica through cinema.
Each year, the festival invites talented artists from around the globe to submit their concepts for the official poster. The winning design becomes the face of the festival, appearing on promotional materials including the program cover, electronic ads, t-shirts, mugs, the festival trailer, and across various social media platforms.
Artists are encouraged to create designs that reflect the festival’s mission of celebrating the diverse cultures of Iberoamerica. Here are the key guidelines to keep in mind:

The selection process is anonymous, ensuring that each design is judged on its merit. The Chicago Latino Film Festival’s core team, including the Programming Manager and Festival Publicist, will evaluate entries based on appeal, content, and marketability. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
