Registrations are invited for International Moon Day Celebration Programme 2023 at Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai. The last date of registration is July 18, 2023.
Nehru Science Centre (NSC) is the largest interactive science centre in India. It is located in Worli, Mumbai. The centre is named after India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. In 1977, the centre started with the ‘Light and Sight’ exhibition, and then in 1979 a Science Park was built.
Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai will be organizing a a remarkable celebration of International Moon Day on July 20th and 21st, 2023.
They have curated a diverse range of programs to engage and inspire everyone with the wonders of space exploration. Don’t miss out on this extraordinary opportunity!

Nehru Science Centre (NSC) in Mumbai is set to celebrate International Moon Day on the 20th and 21st of July 2023. As part of this special occasion, the Centre will be organizing a workshop called “Build Your Own Model” on the 20th of July from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This workshop is open to students from Grade VIII to Grade X. During the workshop, students will have the opportunity to create their own Chandrayaan 3 model.
NSC Mumbai will present a special show called “Exploring the Moon” at the Science on a Sphere facility. Show will be present every 20 minutes between 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The quiz will focus on the fascinating subjects of space exploration and moon landing. We cordially invite a maximum of five students from each school to participate in this event. Get ready to showcase your knowledge and embark on an incredible journey through the mysteries of outer space!
The Centre will be conducting a special Film Show “Journey to the Moon” followed by a Open House Quiz Contest on 20th of July from11a.m. to 12p.m. This event is open for all.
