The Government Law College, Mumbai, (GLC Mumbai), India, founded in 1855, is the oldest law school in Asia. The college, affiliated to the University of Mumbai, is run by the Government of Maharashtra. Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Pratibha Patil, the former President of India, and six Chief Justices of India, as well as several judges of the Supreme Court of India are alumni of the college.
The Government Law College Model United Nations Society (GLCMUN Society), founded in 2008, celebrates its 16th anniversary as a leading platform for education, diplomacy, and international awareness.
Beyond its flagship GLCMUN Conference, it hosts seminars, workshops, and training to enhance research, public speaking, and debate skills. With growing student participation and delegation wins, GLCMUN continues to shape future leaders in global affairs.
MUNSOC is organising its annual flagship event GLC MUN since 2008, which is a pan India Conference where more than 300 delegates from various educational institutes take part to discuss, deliberate and propose solutions on matters of National as well as International concerns.
This year we look forward to organising the 15th Edition of GLCMUN with the aim to educate participants about International Relations, Policies and Politics and to provide an opportunity to further their horizon of knowledge by finding strong and amicably agreed solutions to the problems which affect the entire world.
