Participate in the Drug-Free India Awareness Quiz by NCB and MyGov. The deadline for participation is January 23, 2025!
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is a nodal drug law enforcement agency in India under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. NCB is tasked with combating drug trafficking and abuse under the provisions of the NDPS Act 1985. Due to manifold reasons, both domestic and international, the role of NCB on the matter of drug laws has gained prominence in recent times.
Through this quiz, the Narcotics Control Bureau, under the guidance of the Ministry of Home Affairs, aims to raise mass awareness about drug trafficking, illicit cultivation, storage, and abuse. By engaging key stakeholders such as youth, adolescents, women, educational institutions, and the community at large, NCB strives to educate and empower everyone to combat drug-related issues.
Since the launch of MANAS National Narcotics Helpline 1933, lively discussions on preventing drug trafficking and abuse have taken place in public spheres such as educational institutions, community areas, and virtual spaces like social media. These conversations have encouraged citizens to avoid drugs and prompted those affected to seek counselling and rehabilitation services, increasing overall awareness of drugs and drug-related crimes.
NCB and MyGov invite citizens to participate in the quiz competition on Drug Awareness.
