Registrations are invited for Drawing Competition for School Students on the Occasion of National Space Day by ISRO RACS and MNIT Jaipur. The last date of registration is August 7, 2024.

Regional Academic Centre for Space (RAC-S) is a regional level new initiative to pursue advanced research in the areas of relevance to the future technological and programmatic needs of the Indian Space Programme and act as a facilitator for the promotion of space technology activities in the region.

The selected institute for the establishment of RAC-S will coordinate the research activities and will act as the lead centre. RAC-S will also engage other institutes of excellence in the area of Science and Technology in the region to take part in the research and development activities of the centre. The lead centre will become an ambassador for capacity building, awareness creation and R & D activities of ISRO, in the region.

The Institute was jointly established in 1963 as Malaviya Regional Engineering College Jaipur by the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. Subsequently, on 26 June, 2002, the college was given the status of National Institute of Technology. On 15 August 2007, it was recognized as the Institute of National Importance through an Act of Parliament. The Institute is fully funded by the Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), Government of India.

They are excited to announce a Drawing Competition organized by the Echelon Robotics Club, MNIT Jaipur, to celebrate National Space Day – 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity for Kids/Students to showcase their creativity and imagination! The competition will be held on Saturday, 10 August 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the VLTC Main Gate, MNIT Jaipur. For more details, the brochure is attached.

Entry is free, and all materials (A3 size sheet, colors) will be provided. Exciting prizes await the winners!

The theme is “Space Exploration: India’s Contribution to the World.”

The competition is open to two age groups: 6 to 10 years and 11 to 15 years.
