Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access (IDIA) in Legal Education began as a student-led initiative in 2010. The program identifies underprivileged students with a talent for law and prepares them for law entrance exams over one to two years.
Once accepted into law schools, IDIA helps secure scholarships to support their education. The organization aims to empower underprivileged and marginalized communities by cultivating high-quality lawyers from within.
The IDIA TNNLU Chapter has been operational since May 2023 and consists of over 50 student volunteers from Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU) who are committed to promoting inclusion in legal education.
Currently, the chapter is training six students from underprivileged backgrounds. As a student-run initiative, the chapter needs funding for its daily operations and to expand its outreach to more students in need.

We are excited to announce Brushes for a Better World, an art competition organized by the IDIA TNNLU Chapter, and we invite students from schools and universities to participate and showcase their artistic talent while supporting a noble cause!
