About CBSE
TheΒ Central Board of Secondary EducationΒ (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by theΒ Government of India. Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education.
About SATHEE Project
SATHEE (Self-Assessment, Test and Help for Entrance Examination) is a project that is led by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India in partnership with IIT Kanpur. SATHEE project aims to provide completely free resources to students so that they can prepare for engineering (JEE Mains), medical (NEET) exams and other competitive exams such as (SSC, ICAR, CLAT, IBPS, RRB and CUET). It has 1000+videos in multiple Indian languages and a question bank of several mentorship, and guidance is also available from IIT and AIIMS students. NCERT exemplar solutions and previous years question papers are available for classes 11th and 12th.
Features
The platform facilitates students by providing opportunity for a self-paced interactive learning and assessment to prepare for competitive exams. SATHEE integrates advanced features such as:
- Mentoring, video lectures and live sessions by renowned faculty from institutions like llTs, AllMS, etc.
- Discussion and problem-solving forum led by successful candidates.
- Al-based assessment forum
- E-learning repository
- Solved question papers of previous years
- There is also a proposal of Monthly Tests in CBSE affiliated schools in online and offline mode to prepare students for Board Exams and competitive exams. This test will be based on the syllabus covered as per the scheduled time, helping students prepare for exam-like situation.
- The schools may use these resources free of cost, as required. The schools may depute a nodal officer for the SATHEE project.
