About Vidyadhan

Vidyadhan Scholarship Program from Sarojini Damodaran Foundation supports the college education of meritorious students from economically challenged families. The students are selected after completion of 10th grade /SSLC through a rigorous selection process including test and interview. Currently Vidyadhan program has around 8000 students across the following states: Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Odisha, New Delhi, Ladhak, Bihar, Jarkhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

Scholarship Details

Applications are invited for All India Degree Scholarship 2024 for Class 12 Passed Students by Vidyadhan. The scholarship amount for graduation courses varies from Rs 40,000 to Rs 55,000 per year depending on the state, course, duration etc.

Eligibility

  • Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 3 Lakhs and who have completed their 12th std / HSC / PUC / Intermediate exam in the year 2024. 
  • They should also have scored 70% in their 12th Std / HSC / PUC / Intermediate examination or 70% / 7+ CGPA for CBSE Students. 
  • The cut-off mark for students with disability is 60%.

Required Documents

Scanned copies of the following are required

  • 12th Marksheet.
  • Income Certificate   (from a competent authority; ration card not accepted.)
  • Photograph.
  • Tuition Fee – 1st Year (Semester – 1 / Semester – 2). 

Selection Process

SDF will shortlist the applicants based on the academic performance and the information provided in the application form. The shortlisted candidates will be invited for a short online test/interview.

Important Dates

  • 25th November 2024: Application last date.
  • 1st December 2024: Screening Test.
  • 2nd December to 10th December 2024: Interview/Tests will be scheduled during this time frame. Exact date and location will be intimated to each of the shortlisted candidates.
