About the Create in India Challenge
The Create in India Challenge (CIC) is a unique platform for young creators to demonstrate their creative skills across various fields in the media and entertainment industry. In its inaugural season, CIC Season-1 features 25 thoughtfully curated competitions, each designed to inspire and cultivate Indiaβs future media and entertainment professionals. The theme for this season is βTechnology & Humanityβ (or its variations, like βThe Humanity of Technologyβ or βThe Technology of Humanityβ), which invites participants to explore the intersection between technology and human experience.
Eligibility
The challenge is open to students aged 12-19, split into two groups:
- Junior Group: Ages 12-15
- Senior Group: Ages 16-19
Contest Guidelines
Participants will create a 60-second film on the theme, using any available equipment, such as smartphones or cameras. Creativity is the focus, so participants are encouraged to emphasize their storytelling skills over technical sophistication.
- Entry Guidelines: Individuals or teams (up to 4 members) may submit up to 3 entries.
- Submission: Films should be uploaded to any online platform with public access (YouTube, Google Drive, Vimeo, etc.), and submissions should include the film file, a 50-100 word synopsis, and participant information.
- Judging Criteria: Films will be judged on creativity, appeal, clarity of message, overall impact, and the juryβs discretion.
Why Participate?
