About CBSE
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Government of India. Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education. There are more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE. All schools affiliated to CBSE follow the NCERT curriculum especially from class 9 to 12. The current Chairperson of CBSE is Rahul Singh, IAS.

Considering the need of promoting inclusivity as underlined in the National Education Policy- 2020, the CIET-NCERT is organizing a five-day training course from 14th to 18th October, 2024, under Dyslexia Awareness Week to create awareness about effective strategies to support children with dyslexia in their learning endeavours,. The details of the sessions are as below:

| 2. | 15th October, 2024, Tuesday | Dyslexia-friendly classrooms for Mathematics |
| 3. | 16th October, 2024, Wednesday | Dyslexia-friendly classrooms for English |
| 4. | 17th October, 2024, Thursday | Dyslexia-friendly classrooms for Hindi |
| 5. | 18th October, 2024, Friday | Dyslexia-friendly classrooms for Social Science |
The sessions will be bilingual (Hindi, English) facilitated also by Sign Language interpreter. Online registration is open for school teachers & educational administrators. Certificates will be provided to those participants, who attend all the 5 sessions and score above 70% marks in the online quiz generated on 18th October, 2024. These sessions will be telecast live on PM eVidya DTH TV Channels #1- 12 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and also simulcast on NCERTs YouTube Channel.
