About the Quiz

Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation (DDWS), Ministry of Jal Shakti in collaboration with MyGov, proudly announces an exhilarating online quiz on GOBARdhan initiative which is being pursued as a national programme priority under Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen-Phase II. 

GOBARdhan was launched by the Government of India in April 2018. It is an integral component of solid waste management for ensuring cleanliness in villages. GOBARdhan-waste to wealth is a major initiative of Govt. of India for generating wealth and energy by converting cattle dung, agri residue and other organic waste into biogas, Compressed Biogas (CBG) and organic manure. Various Ministries/Departments (GoI) are working together in a β€œWhole of Government” approach for implementation of this initiative and to further promote circular economy.

DDWS is nodal coordinating Department for GOBARdhan initiative.

Β Gratification

There will be prize money for 53 winners of the contest as underΒ 

  • 1st Prize – β‚Ή 5,000/-Β 
  • 2nd Prize – β‚Ή 3,000/-Β 
  • 3rd Prize – β‚Ή 2,000/-
  • Consolation Prizes (Fifty) – Rs. 1,000/- eachΒ 
  • All participants to the Quiz will get an e-certificate of participation by MyGov.

Terms and Conditions

  • Quiz is open for all Indian Citizens.
  • Quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the β€˜Play Quiz’.
  • Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted.
  • The participant should ensure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since the Department/ Ministry would use this for further communication. Non-furnishing of the information at the appropriate stage will render the selection null and void.
  • Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/malpractices, including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc., during the participation in the quiz, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard.
  • Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizing the quiz, are not eligible to participate in the quiz. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members.
  • The DDWS, Ministry of Jal Shakti will disburse the winning amount/ rewards to the selected winner(s) after publishing the Winner Announcement Blog on blog.mygov.in
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the DDWS, Ministry of Jal Shakti reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered.
  • The participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates.
  • The decision of DDWS, Ministry of Jal Shakti on the Quiz shall be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.
  • All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves.
  • DDWS, Ministry of Jal Shakti will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.
  • By participating in the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the above-mentioned terms and conditions.
  • The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system.
