About the College

Dr. R.C. Sproul founded Reformation Bible College in 2011. Throughout his career, Dr. Sproul dreamed of establishing a college where the system of theology found in Scripture and outlined in the Reformed confessions could be taught by a trusted faculty to the next generation. The early Ligonier Valley Study Center had been an actual physical place for students to come and sit under the teaching of Dr. Sproul and other Reformed theologians.

About the Contest

We’re pleased to announce our 2025 Essay Contest. If you are an incoming student joining us on campus in the fall 2025 semester, you could win a full scholarship for your first year of on-campus tuition at Reformation Bible College.

In 1525, Martin Luther published his seminal work, The Bondage of the Will. This theological treatise became a cornerstone of Reformation theology as Luther rejected the notion that people can achieve their own salvation, arguing instead for God’s sovereign will in redemption.
