About the Quiz
Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. popularly known as “Cottage Emporium” or “Cottage” was set up in the year 1952 primarily to promote Indian crafts by providing marketing support to the artisans & weavers and to present their best handcrafted creations to the global audience. CCIC products are guaranteed to be exquisite & genuine because they are sourced from Artisans, Weavers, Mastercraft persons, Shilpgurus, and Sant Kabir Awardees who have been conferred highest national awards by the Government of India.
The Craft Quiz, presented by the Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. in collaboration with MyGov an engaging initiative designed to enhance awareness about the Cottage as a one stop destination for authentic Indian Handicrafts & Handloom and the significant role it plays in the promotion of the crafts. Participation in such quiz will give an in-depth knowledge of various crafts traditions of India, their origins and cultural significance, the value of Handmade products, immaculate skills of the Indian artisans and the rich cultural heritage of India.
Gratification
- 1st Winner will be awarded a Prize of CCIC Gift Coupon INR 5,000 (Five thousand rupees only).
- 2nd Winner will be awarded a Prize of CCIC Gift Coupon INR 2,500 (Two thousand five hundred rupees only).
- 3rd Winner will be awarded a Prize of CCIC Gift Coupon INR 1,000 (One thousand rupees only).
Terms and Conditions
- Quiz is open for all Indian Citizens.
- Quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Play Quiz’.
- Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted.
- The participant should ensure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since the Department/ Ministry would use this for further communication. Non-furnishing of the information at the appropriate stage will render the selection null and void.
- Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/malpractices, including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc., during the participation in the quiz, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard.
- Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizing the quiz, are not eligible to participate in the quiz. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members.
- The Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. will disburse the winning amount/ rewards to the selected winner(s) after publishing the Winner Announcement Blog on blog.mygov.in
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. and MyGov reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered.
- The participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates.
- The decision of Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. on the Quiz shall be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.
- All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves.
- Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.
- By participating in the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the above-mentioned terms and conditions.
- The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system.
